Your own question woven into the reading

The offer

$49

for a full written natal chart reading

I always try to finish within 24 hours. When I am busy it can take 2 to 4 days.

Send your birth data.
Name, birth date, time, and place, plus your question. This comes first, like filling in a checkout form.

Intake Form

Pay for your reading.
The payment step appears right after you send the form. One payment, $49, through the secure checkout. The two always travel together, so a reading is never started unpaid.

Receive your reading.
Your written reading arrives by email. I try for 24 hours; busy times, 2 to 4 days.

An accurate birth time matters. If yours is unknown, I will read a noon chart and tell you plainly which parts of the reading that limits. Readings are a spiritual service offered for guidance and reflection. They are not medical, legal, or financial advice.

The Book

Only Dead Fish Follow the Stream

How to Work Magic in a Mental Universe. Launches November 22, 2026.

Only dead fish follow the stream.

The Swedish saying is tattooed on my wrist, and it is the whole argument of the book: reality is a mental universe, the Stream is the accepted current of how things are supposed to go, and a living person can swim. This is a working manual for magic built on that ground: meditation, ritual, belief, and the discipline of living in the end you intend.

Paperback and ebook, November 22, 2026.

About

The Short Version

J.C. Martineau writes and practices from Utah. Raised inside one stream, he left it the hard way and spent the years since studying the older maps: Hermetic philosophy, Hellenistic astrology, and the New Thought writers, testing all of it against his own life. Only Dead Fish Follow the Stream is his first book. His readings use the same tools the book teaches, applied to one chart at a time: yours.
